As you travel through local waterways, our captains share insight into the behaviors of bottlenose dolphins, the role of seagrass habitats, and the coastal ecosystem that supports marine life in this area. Guests gain a better understanding of how these waterways function and why they matter.
Dolphin sightings are frequent, but no two trips are the same. Along the way, guests may also observe cownose rays and spotted eagle rays gliding through the water, along with coastal birds such as brown pelicans, ospreys, great egrets, great blue herons, and roseate spoonbills in their natural habitat.
These tours are designed to allow wildlife to behave naturally, without feeding or chasing, while giving families and visitors a meaningful, real world connection to Sarasota’s coastal waterways.
